If you are an astronomy club, have your own personal website or are otherwise engaged in not-for-profit use, I typically grant permission for image usage free of charge. I do request proper credit for the image and a hyperlink to my website. If you are using an image for some sort of mailer, such as a monthly newsletter or presentation, it would be nice to receive a copy.

If your intentions are for profit, such as a magazine, book or anything where you are selling a good or service, I will need to quote a fee specific to your request.
